Lovely angle (though I think I've seen shots of NYC from that position a few times now!), and a lovely photo.

Gotta love those tiny tilts in photos, and which horizontal axis you decide to balance it around. The worst is when you have a horizontal bridge, and a horizontal horizon somewhere else... but one of them is slightly out... Grr.
Now I run a tech website.

I know - it's a very photographed view of downtown. What makes this a little different is the 'poles' sticking up from the water - I think it adds dimention to the frame. But yeah, you're so limited on foot and in company of umm.. not-so-interested-in-waiting-for-you-running-around-finding-something-original people ;)

Yeah horizons.. and then add wide-angle distortions on top of that. hngg

Yar, gotta love poles! In the small version, they almost looked like they were propping up the bridge (which looks really small actually).

When I get around to blogging about Italy (not sure when) I'll put up some nice photos from Venice. I found some nice poles there too!

Hah! I didn't even notice that the far poles are almost perfectly aligned with the bridge pillar. Could make some perspective bending manipulation here ;D

Let us know when you've upped some shots from Venice!
