Weekend Raider Application - Druid (DPS) - Bearlymadeit
« on: November 26, 2017, 11:05:02 am »
Hello, Iron Edge!

I am applying for the Weekend Raid.

Character: Bearlymadeit
Armory: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/Kazzak/Bearlymadeit/advanced
Class/Spec: Druid (DPS)
Member Type: wraider

Personal Info:

Adam, 29, England, Manager at a law firm.

Hi there i've been playing wow since burning crusade now going on what 11 years? Time flies so fast.

I have raided at the highest level throughout my game days achieving some top 50 world dps ranks as enhance shaman in the throne of thunder raid. I've tanked and played healer so my understanding of all classes and roles helps me I find in raid situations.

I am looking for a guild with good experience for Antorus with the aim of joining the main raid team. I have recently re rolled from MW monk to Feral druid and I am absolutely loving it. Last time I played druid competitively was raiding in Burning crusade :)

Class/Spec:

Feral / Guardian

I prefer to play feral due to the rotations and all around damage noting more fun then bleeding your enemies out, and all my AP is really going into that weapon Guardian is just for some quick dungeon ques. 920/918 ilevel gear respecitvely 70 traits as feral 58 as guardian.

As a feral druid i am going for vers/crit as my main stats i am still switching between incarnation and jagged wounds build to see what is pulling more and in Aoe encounters brutal slash is doing alot of damage over savage roar.

Prioritising keeping rake/rip up on target with 5 combo ferocious bite to prolong the rip

Alts:

Kenchi - MW monk 70 traits 936 ilevel 4/9 mythic.

Professions:

Alchemy / Herbalism - extended flasks - no amazing receipies yet working on it.

Raiding Experience:

Listed below are all the raids I have done since I have played the same, most expansions I have raided at the highest difficulty and achieved Cutting edge Lei Shen in ToT.

Karazhan
Gruul's Lair
Magtheridon' Lair
Serpentshrine Cavern
Tempest Keep
CoT: Battle for Mount Hyjal
Black Temple
Sunwell Plateau
Naxxramus
Obsidian Sanctum
Vault of Archavon
Eye of Eternity
Ulduar
Trial of the Crusader
Onyxia's Lair
Trial of the Grand Crusader
Ruby Sanctum
Icecrown Citadel
Baradin Hold
Bastion of Twilight
Throne of Four Winds
Blackwing Descent
Baradin Hold
FIrelands
Mogu'shan Vaults
Heart of Fear
Terrace of Endless Spring
Throne of Thunder
Siege of Orgrimmar
Dragon Soul
Blackrock Foundry
Highmaul
Hellfire Citadel
Emerald Nightmade
Trial of Valor
The Nighthold
Tomb Of Sargeras

Previous Guilds:

Battle Of Attrition on my monk left because the raid leader was just plain rude to other players and offensive. I'm 29 not really into playing this game with immature people. Also around 7 people left at the same time it was that bad.

Currently in my own guild now with a friend until I find somewhere suitable.

Availability:

any evening of the week or weekend

Communication:

Fluent English with working microphone and I have ts3

Computer / Connection:

I have a MSI Dominator laptop NVidia 1080 graphics running around 90 fps on ultra.
MS is always around 16 i have the fastest connection from my provider.

If i disconnect it would be very rare.

Addons/UI:

DBM (standard for mechanics) / Omen (for threat) / Angry Assignments (for raid cool downs)

I have ELVUI so my bleeds are tracked by this.

Other Games:

FF12 Zodiac Age, Assassins Creed used to play league but not in a long while, tend to go gym now and keep fit.

Why Iron Edge?

You guys have been around a while and looking at your site you have a real community that I would like to be apart of.

What can I offer Iron Edge?

A mature reliable solid player with years and years of experience and the ability to help others out when needed.

Where did I hear about Iron Edge?

Last Words?

Hi Bearlymadeit,

First off, good application. Lots of detail and I like it. I'm just wondrering, you mentioned you have hopes to join the main raid. If so, why not just make an application for it now. Is there something stopping you at the moment?

Also if you could link some recent logs, that'd be nice :)

Hi Lethys and thanks for your comments.

I do not have any dps logs at the moment so I am happy to join the weekend team and prove myself and get some logs before being considered for a main raid.

I also miss 2 bis legendry's so until I have them it will be hard to complete with the main raid also gear isn't at the level to join a main raid :)

Thanks

Thanks for replying. Iron Edge runs 3 raids, we treat then as exclusive, so to use the weekend raid as a stepping stone isn't what we look for. But, it's up to the weekend raid leader and our melee officer to look in to this.
Good luck

Hello Adam.

I was really looking foreward to your application, after our talk. I understand that you have your own ambitions to pursue, but as Lethys said, we treat our raids as exclusive raids.

Neither of the 1-day raids are a stepping stone towards the mythic team.
That being said, i have to decline this application and wish you the best of luck in finding a guild that suits your schedule.

Xormn.

Hi Xorm

I don’t recall speaking to you? :) I didn’t know that this wasn’t something that could be done in the guild but after you have explained everything I’m happy just to be a part of the weekend raid team. I work a busy job so maybe it would suit me better.

I’ll leave it for you to decide

Kind regards

Hello again.

I'm glad you want to be part of the team more than anything. Not going to talk about past experiences because we want to look forward towards better ones.

You can poke any officer for an invite. Welcome to the team!
