Personal Info:

My name is Evangelos, I’m 35 years old and currently living in the UK. I’m a newer player who started this season, but I’ve already grown really passionate about the game. As a person, I’d describe myself as funny, reliable, and fully committed, both in and out of the game. I always try to bring a positive attitude and consistency to any group I’m part of.

Class/Spec:

I play a Dwarf Hunter and I really like the Pack Leader BM specc. I like this build due to its stable damage, ability to move and do dps at the same time and how funny the rotation is. At the moment, I am at 716 ilvl with full gems/enchants where possible.

I am a new player and a new hunter but I have played a lot this season so I am more than happy to share my understanding of the class. As for the stats, Haste is priority up until 40% and then crit/haste follows. Haste is important because the way the BM build works, some skills reset your main dps skill <kill command> so the more frequently you cast some skills higher the chance to reset the Kill command.

Alts:

I have a healer, holy paladin at 708 Ilvl but it's not at the level of raiding at mythic level at the moment.

Professions:

Skinning and leatherworking, as to why? I just love skinning beasts, I find this very relaxing some afternoons.

Raiding Experience:

I’ve only started playing this season, so all my raiding experience comes from the current tier. I’ve cleared 8/8 on Normal and reached 7/8 on Heroic. Even though I’m still a newer player, I’ve learned a lot in a short time and I’m eager to keep improving and eventually step into Mythic content.

Previous Guilds:

I have been only in one guild, I am still part of it. I have nothing wrong to say about <Mythos>, they literally helped to gain the basics of the game and raiding the last 2 months. The problem is that people are not showing the same commitment and drive like I do. We have been stuck in the last boss at hc level for weeks with no improvement or progress and people started leaving the guild. I need a guild that does progress so I can improve as a player and learn the game even better from experienced players.

Availability:

I’m available every day from around 6:00 p.m. server time until about 1:00 a.m. I work mostly remotely, so my schedule is quite flexible, and I can easily adjust to the guild’s raid times when needed.

Communication:

Yes, I use Discord regularly and have a working microphone. I work for the Scottish Government, so I’d say my English is more than good enough for proper communication. I’m active on Discord during raid nights and always make sure to listen and communicate clearly with the team.

Computer / Connection:

I’m playing on a new gaming desktop with an RTX 5080, so performance isn’t an issue. My internet connection is 100 Mbps and very stable — I don’t experience lag, high ping, or disconnects.

Unfortunately we're not in a position where we can take on another Deathknight in the main raid roster. The roster is rather healthy as it stands with no real gap to fill. We would be more than happy to reconsider your application for the next patch/expansion.

Class/Spec:

Currently I mainly play play as Frost, but I have played unholy for instance last season.
I have played blood all seasons in M+ keys, but not as my main spec. I did some raid tanking as blood earlier in dragonflight.

My DK is 715 in Frost. I use the same gear for M+ as blood.


Frost primarily wants strength, mastery and crit, then haste, then versatility.

Rotation is pretty straight forward, using obliterate/frostscyte to generte runic power and frost strike/glacial advance to spend runic power. The main priority of frost is to spend killing machine procs on obliterate/frost scyte and rime procs on howling blast.

Main CD windows are pillar of frost, which makes every frost strike/glacial advance grant a killing machine proc and increases the damage of the killing machine procs.

Alts:

I also have a DH around 707, and a priest around 705.
The DH is my main from last season, when I played exclusively m+ as tank. And my priest is a disc, I mained it in shadowlands. I have a warrior and palla, but havent touched them since season 2.

Professions:

Nothing of note, I mainly keep engineering for jeeves/rocket belt and alchemy for flask duration.

Raiding Experience:

I have 1 CE from Legion, which I got on my shaman "Laurenze-Kazzak". In Shadowlands on my priest, "Laurenca-Kazzak" I got 6/10 in both Castle Nathria and Sanctum of Domination.

Both of these were as a healer.

In Nerubar Palace I got 4/8 on my current main, as blood.


Previous Guilds:

In general I've stayed with the same guild since Legion, and havent really looked to progress deeper into the raid then that group have managed.

However, last season they did not get a raid team together at all. And the season before that, we ended up pugging a few players every week. Therefore, this season I joined a casual sign-up guild instead with my dk.

I do however have a desire to raid more, and specifically in mythic. And even though my old guild did manage to get a team together this season, I'm not sure they would provide what I really want.


Availability:

I have a regular office job, so no shift work.

I have a wife and one child, 3 years old. So during daytime I wont be able to play but I have my phone with me if there is a need to reach me.
I would be available to play almost all evenings, from around 19:00 CET to 24:00 CET. I say almost, just because my wife would not like it if I played every single day..

Communication:

I regularly use English, although a little less than before as my guild is Norwegian only. I would however say that I'm proficient.

I have a microphone and use it on a daily basis.

Computer / Connection:

Internet is a fibre line with  500/500, stable non issue.

Computer works fine, not an issue.

Addons/UI:

Currently for raid specifically I'm using Northern sky Weak aura packs and addons, as well as MRT.
These are for assignments in the raid, with callouts and to get usefull information during the fights.

I also use:
BigWigs / LittleWigs - Raid and dungeon boss mods
RCLootCouncil - for loot distrubution in guild (with my previous mythic guild)
Shadowed unit frames - player and target frame
Grid2 - party and raid frames
Simulationcraft - To sim my char for optimal gear

At this time I mainly play WoW to be honest. But I have played League of legends (reached diamond), all dark souls games, bloodborne, stardew valley and various other things. To many to list them all.

Why Iron Edge?

I want to join a guild where I can reach further into the raid. I also went to university with Christer "Moon" Kvarme, which made me think of your guild spesifically.

What can I offer Iron Edge?

A flexible player, willing to reroll to most classes and all roles. I frequently do M+, and like having guildies with me on open coms.
