Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising
« on: October 12, 2009, 12:17:35 am »

Damn you people and your HoN! it makes me unable to play this game.
every time i start this game you (mostly douche) come and ask me if i want to play HoN and i allways say yes forgetting that there are no save points in this game on the hardest dificulty levels.
i havent even gone past the first level for crying out loud!

anyway ranting done from what little i've seen i do enjoy this game one of the few FPS games that actualy has proper realism the highest dificulty means that you have no assists in the game what so ever no HuD what so ever.
if you get hit you will hear your heart beat and see your screen slowly turning red cause if you dont apply a field dressing you will bleed out and die, getting shot in both your legs means you cant walk anymore

comparing this game with ArmA 2 i must say i do enjoy this game better then ArmA 2 if only for the less retarded voices they have.

TL;DR if you like realism and i do mean proper realism play this game if not go back to Quake or something:D

Wow... that sounds pretty fun. At least for a few minutes/hours.

Shall try to pick it up.
Now I run a tech website.

No save points... I assume it's level based?  You don't have to play through the whole game in 1 sitting? :P

Oh poor Grish, your life is full of such hardships. I think you should take a break from raiding to sort out your HON schedule.

I'd like to do some Co-op.  I'm sure grish would.  Not sure you can do it with the 'Attained' version, though.

The single player was meh.  At least for me.
