The new raid lockout changes

The new raid lockout changes for Taiwan and Korea adjust the lockout timers for the patch 4.0 and 4.2 raids. The lockout timers for these raids will now reset twice weekly instead of once. These raid lockout changes are being made to allow players to raid more often and get more chances at epic loot drops. Players will be able to down current Cataclysm raid bosses twice a week, accelerating players? progression.

We are testing these new raid lockout changes in Taiwan and Korea first. Our goal is to expand this change to other regions in the future, but we don?t have anything further to announce at this time with regard to North American implementation.

i really hope they don't make this change come to eu, yet again it has upsides like  obtaining gear quicker ... but there will be soooo many oranges around with double lockout clearing especially once u get everything on farm

overall i think it's one of the worst things they could do atm

maybe if they make requirement to actually clear the lockout, but well that's gonna make guild who clears content first so buffed for next content, like having all rogues with legendary, all casters with legendary etc ...

What they should do instead, is to share lockout between 10 and 25 man, instead of locking players to one of them.

That way, a lot more 25 man raids would survive, for obvious reasons.

well it currently looks like it's 4.0 content to 4.2

So maybe they'll nerf the drop on Cinders etc? I doubt after 4.3 hits many people will do 25 man for the staff.

I just want them to like stick to either 25man or 10man, TBC style.

Im pretty sure this will only be a feature for outdated content, which I think is ok, I dont mind people being able to farm old instances twice a week to catch up with current content.

But ofcourse it will be relevant to nerf the legendary cinders.

What I think they should do is have the previous tier lockouts reset twice a week, that way people can gear up quicker for the new raid content.
Sometimes, when I'm alone and can't sleep at night, I get naked, rub Vasoline all over my body and pretend I'm a slug in the kitchen. Ever tried it?

firelands will be new "old content" soon ... so in 6 hours u can clear it twice and get 8-9 souls from each boss, so basically 14 times 8 equals to 112 souls .. aka 1/2 of amount needed on last part of the legendary quest chain, pretty much everyone has cinders now so most ppl are waiting just to drain the souls

as that legendary will still stay bis in 4.3  even with nerfs ... i think its rather stupid :>

Maybe they are making it unobtainable? (Highly unlikely..)

maybe its just me but i think it was much more awesome feeling when it dropped from the boss rather then going through entire process of making it

i think you are missing something.

You actually need a full raid to do this. So it depends on getting those 24 other people and since there has been no mention of how and when this would be implemented in EU and US, I would expect stuff to get nerfed.

full clear takes 3 hours, double clear possible without any problems in 6 hours
